Whether motor, sail, or paddle, there is something magical that happens when we step aboard a boat. The day ahead is filled with endless possibilities; a chance encounter with a monster of the deep, treasures on a remote island, or just breathing in the intoxicating breeze off the water, filling our heads with dreams that only seem possible when you are afloat. For us that "get it", and let our inner child roam free, our eyes are opened, and we smile, as if by some sort of miracle, it is instantly revealed to us, the secrets of a happy life.# 273109

Searching for C-Shels is a cruising, liveaboard, and water-lust travel portal. We are determined to find alternate ways to work and earn income in order to support a full time liveaboard lifestyle and cruising to the Caribbean in Winter. We hope to inspire like-minded people, who may also hold freedom, adventure, and simplicity as their highest values, to do similar things earlier in life instead of waiting for retirement.

We are destined to travel and capture some of the most beautiful places on earth by boat. Reaching for imagery that in some small way captures that deeply intense emotion we feel when we are on or near the water. There is just something about a yacht, silky water, and a sunset. Nautical photography to us is all about the voyage and the destination, the people and the places, the boats and equipment, the rivers, lakes, and oceans. We believe that life's journey is meant to be shared. Join us on our journey as we share it with you. We hope to inspire you to do the same.

"My goal was to put out the best boat I could. I think that's what made the name 'Tollycraft' synonymous with a well built boat, a boat for people who want to be on the water. Our boats were not produced for those who won't untie the mooring lines." -Robert Merland Tollefson (Tollycraft Founder)
To continue with our dreams of cruising the Intracoastal Waterway, Florida, the Bahamas, and beyond, the original C-Shel had to go to make way for a longer range cruising vessel. We now have C-Shel II, a Tollycraft 44.
